This is to let all well wishers of Lt Col Moazzam Khan (Retd), Avn, EME know that he is currently hospitalized in Philadelphia, PA USA. Here is what happened. On Jan 3 we talked while he was in New York visiting his son (Fasih) and he mentioned that he’ll be returning back to Toronto on the 8th. He actually started his journey back a day earlier by bus, and while only about two hours out of New York, his adjacent passenger reported to the driver that his neighbour was almost lifeless. The driver immediately gave him the first aid including resuscitation and also called 911. The 911 ambulance immediately evacuated him to the nearest hospital in Philadelphia. Since his arrival in the hospital he has not gained consciousness to talk to any one. The doctors say that pursuant to his heart attack his brain suffered acutely due to lack of oxygen. He is currently on ventilators since Jan 7th. His elder son Obaid and his wife are there and attending to him. Please communicate this info to his friends, here and in Pakistan, and please pray for his early recovery. Insha’Allah and Amen.
