ASKARI AIRPORT SERVICES: ASKARI AIRPORT SERVICES-(AAPS)

Askari Airport Services (AAPS) is established as a project of Army Welfare Trust (AWT) under the Companies Ordinance, 1984. AAPS is mandated to carry on business of Ground Handling Services. It commenced its operations in January, 2007 offering quality services with a better cost effective structure. at Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad. AAPS is also a member of IATA Ground Handling Council (IGHC).

ASK FLYING ACADEMY: ASKARI FLYING ACADEMY-(AFA)

Ask Flying Academy (AFA) is a project of Askari Aviation (Private) Limited, which is a company of Army Welfare Trust. AFA is established at Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad since January 2007. AFA was granted Flying School License Class II by Civil Aviation Authority in January 2007. The primary focus of AFA has been to conduct flying related courses for which the Civil Aviation Authority has already approved following operational and training manuals.

A professional pilot with extensive Administrative and Aviation experience. Apart form 34 years military experience of Army Aviation, he is Chief Executive (CEO )of Askari Aviation Services (AAS) since 1998. As a CEO AAS he established Askari Charter Services (ACS), Askari Aviation (Pvt) Ltd (AAL), Askari Airport Services (AAPS), Askari Flying Academy (AFA) and Askari Travel & Tours (AT&T). AAS starting with 00 employees in 1998 has today over 228 persons providing domestic and international aviation services.

Abdul Khalil

Mr. Abdul Khalil has been appointed as General Manager Finance, Askari Aviation Group as of 26 April 2007. Previously he has been working as Senior Manager Finance, Army Welfare Trust for its industrial sector including Cement, Pharmaceuticals & Sugar. Mr. Khalil is a qualified management accountant and is a fellow of the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan, fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants (UK), fellow of the American Academy of Financial Management (USA), fellow of the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants, and a Licensed International Financial Analyst (USA). He is currently Regional Chairman of ICMAP for his second consecutive term for 2010 & 2011 and he remained Secretary Branch Council for the years 2007 & 2009. He was a member on the Advisory Board of International Research Association, USA during 2006-09. He has over 13 years diversified and rich experience in leadership/managerial skills, financial management, budgeting, accounting, feasibility analysis, training and policy formulation.

Brig (R) Javed Rashid Sajid

A professional pilot from Pakistan Army Aviation, with extensive command, staff and instructional experience. In addition to Aviation experience he has been instructor in different institution during his 31 years of Military service. Joined AAS in Aug 2011.

Lt Col Mustafa Kamal Siddiqui (Retd)

Experienced and professional aviator with over 8200 Hours of rotary and fixed wing flying in some of the highest mountains of the world. He has been instructor on both Fixed wing and a number of helicopters .Worked as chief Operating Officer of Aga Khan Foundation from 1989 to 2006 Presently serving with AAL as GM Askari Aviation Limited/ Chief Pilot since 2006.

Lt Col Faridoon (Retd)
