24-Jul-2010 3rd Rescue – Czech Republic G1 & G2 Expedition 2010 22 Jul - At 0900 hrs Mr. Ghulam Muhammad of Blue Sky Treks & Tours called and requested for rescue of Mr. Tim Timothy Paul and Miss. Cantale Jiovannina from IHEC of Czech Republic G1 & G2 Expedition 2010 who were suffering from frostbite. Immediately the rescue mission was passed to all concerned. Availability of helicopter and weather condition was checked from Skardu. Unfortunately due to poor weather conditions the rescue mission will not be executed today. The mission has been approved and as soon as the weather conditions improve the helicopters will take of from Skardu for the evacuation of Mr. Tim Timothy Paul and Miss. Cantale Jiovannina from IHEC. 23rd July - The weather conditions for the rescue mission has not been good to for the whole day. The mission will not be executed tomorrow. 24 Jul - 2 x Ecureuil helicopters have left for IHEC to evacuate Mr. Tim Timothy and Miss. Cantale. (1635 hrs) Rescue mission has been completed sucessfully and Mr. Tim Timothy and Miss. Cantale have been evacuated to Skardu.
29-Jun-2010 2nd Rescue – FTA K2 B.C Trekking 2010 29 Jun - At 0900 hrs Mr. Esar Karim of Adventure Tours called and requested for rescue of Mrs. Nicola Louise Wright from Broad Peak B.C of FTA K2 B.C Trekking Group 2010 who was suffering from altitude sickness. Immediately the rescue mission was passed to all concerned. Availability of helicopter / weather condition was checked from Skardu. By 1030 hrs rescue mission was coordinated / approved. At 1310 hrs 1 x Mi-17 helicopter took off from Skardu to evacuate Mrs. Nicola Louise Wright from Broad Peak B.C. At 1600 hrs Mrs. Nicola Louise Wright was successfully evacuated to Skardu.
28-Jun-2010 1st Rescue – Czech Baltoro Gondagoro La Hushe Trekking 2010 27 Jun - At 1820 hrs Mr. Ashraf Aman of Adventure Tours called and requested for rescue of Mr. Jaroslav Jirman from Urdukus of Czech Baltoro Gondagoro La Hushe Trekking Group 2010 who was suffering from altitude sickness. Immediately the rescue mission was passed to all concerned but due to shortage of time the mission could not be undertaken on 27 June 2010. The mission will be undertaken on 28 June 10, morning subject to clear weather conditions. On 28 June 2010 by 0900 hrs rescue mission was coordinated / approved. 28 Jun-At 1050 hrs 1 x Mi-17 helicopter took off from Skardu to evacuate Mr. Jaroslav Jirman from Urdukus. At 1630 hrs Mr. Jaroslav Jirman was successfully evacuated to Skardu.
21-Jun-2010 Details of Expeditions / Trekkers 2010 So far a total of 17 Expeditions and 03 Trekkers have left for the mountains and climbing / trekking in Northern Areas of Pakistan. Distribution is as under: - (K2 - 5), (Gasherbrum 1 - 4), (Gasherbrum 2 - 2), (Broad Peak - 2), (Nanga Parbat - 2), (Latok 1 - 1), (Gasherbrum 5 -1)
